Coldest began in 2015 in Naples, Florida, with a simple question: could a team of engineers create products that help people stay colder, longer? Built by twin brothers in a one-car garage, the brand has grown into an expanding universe of cold-focused products.

What started with a water bottle became a story of innovation, persistence, excitement, and the kind of hands-on work that turns a small idea into something much bigger.

Built By Engineers In A Florida Garage

Coldest was founded by a team of engineers who wanted to build something that could keep up with the heat of Florida. David Stark started the company from a one-car garage in Naples, Florida, putting everything back into the business as the early years demanded more work, more space, and more persistence.

The first product was a water bottle. From there, the team began developing a wider collection of products designed around staying cold and making everyday life more refreshing.

The Coldest Timeline

Engineering The Next Generation Of Cold

In 2018, David designed and tested new Coldest prototypes, including the 1-Gallon and ½-Gallon bottles. The work was hands-on, detailed, and focused on building products that could deliver a better cold experience.

As the company expanded, the team moved beyond bottles and into other cold-focused products, always carrying the same engineering mindset forward.

Building Momentum The Hard Way

Between 2019 and 2020, the behind-the-scenes work was constant: stacking pallets, wrapping pallets, shipping product, and finding ways to keep momentum moving. The business expanded across seven acres, with more than 20 forty-foot shipping containers used to store inventory during a period of rapid change.

From Headquarters To Coldies Nation

In 2022, Coldest opened its first retail store at Coastland Mall in Naples, Florida, creating a face-to-face home for the Coldies who helped build the brand.

The brand’s Shark Tank journey brought another wave of attention between January 2023 and February 2024. Coldies Nation grew faster than expected, and within two years the company had already outgrown its previous headquarters.

The Future Of The Coldest Universe

In November 2023, Coldest moved into HQ V.4, a 52,000-square-foot headquarters in Fort Myers. It is the brand’s biggest home yet, built to keep up with the products and ideas still being invented.

Looking ahead to 2030, Coldest World™ is an early-stage theme park vision where customers could immerse themselves in the expanding Universe of COLDEST.
