Michael's Story: Finding A New Path After Crohn's Disease

Michael grew up in an immigrant household in New York City, raised on home-cooked food centered around meat, fruits, vegetables, and soup. As he got older, fast food became a daily staple. At 19, while in college, he began experiencing serious digestive symptoms and was diagnosed with Crohn's disease.

After medications and repeated medical testing did not give him the answers he was looking for, Michael committed fully to his health and began exploring an animal-based lifestyle. His personal approach included organic fruits and vegetables, grass-finished ruminant meat, organ meat, and organic white rice. Over time, he saw meaningful changes in his symptoms and overall well-being, and that experience became part of the mission behind Grazly.

Matthew's Story: A New Relationship With Food And Well-Being

Matthew grew up as a first-generation American and struggled with his weight, mental well-being, and physical issues during his teenage years. After pursuing weight loss through restrictive alternatives and experiencing severe joint pain, he was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and prescribed methotrexate.

Later, Matthew embraced an animal-based lifestyle centered on meat, organs, fruit, honey, and raw dairy, while also paying closer attention to his environment, water, and daily habits. He describes this shift as transformative for his energy, joint comfort, and overall well-being, and says incorporating organ meats helped him pursue his micronutrient goals.
