Baloo Living: An Invitation To Slow Down

Baloo Living began with a pause. After years of building, pushing, and keeping up with the speed of modern life, founder Elizabeth Grojean stepped away and found herself moving to a different rhythm in Bali.

There, days followed sunrise and sunset rather than a packed schedule. Time outdoors and space to be present offered a different perspective on rest: perhaps it did not need to be another thing to achieve.

That shift became the starting point for Baloo. The brand’s invitation is not to do more, but to make room for the ordinary comforts that help a day feel less hurried.

Comfort With A Sense Of Intention

Inspired by the reassuring sensation of being held, Baloo’s weighted bedding brings a distinctive physical feel to the familiar act of settling in. Its broader collection pairs that idea with cotton covers, stonewashed linen, and smaller pieces for personal rituals.

The approach is simple: choose textures you enjoy, give comfort a place in your home, and allow yourself a moment without a task attached.

Choose By Person, Not Just By Bed Size

A larger piece is not automatically the right choice. Review the product’s weight, dimensions, age guidance, and instructions alongside the needs of the person who will use it. The Mini is a smaller format, but its name alone does not establish suitability.

Weighted bedding should only be used by someone who can remove it independently, and it should never cover the face or neck. Never use weighted bedding for infants. Seek professional advice before use for a child or anyone with breathing, circulation, mobility, or other health concerns.

A Layer That Changes The Feel

A cover gives weighted bedding another texture and helps keep everyday care manageable. Baloo offers both a Cotton Duvet Cover and a Stonewashed Linen Duvet Cover, so you can choose the surface you most enjoy.

Start with the exact blanket or comforter measurements, then match the cover’s dimensions and attachment system. A cover is a separate layer, not a weighted blanket by itself.

Linen, Without The Formality

The Stonewashed Linen Sheets Set brings a relaxed look to the bed, with a fitted sheet, flat sheet, and two pillowcases. Separate Stonewashed Linen Pillowcases offer another way to introduce the texture without changing every layer.

Warm neutrals, muted greens, and soft blues in the collection make a quiet palette easy to build. You can stay tonal or let one deeper shade give the room a little definition.

Smaller Pieces, Their Own Purpose

The Weighted Silk Sleep Stone Mask brings a light-blocking format in Mulberry silk. Its sewn-in crystal is a design detail; choose the mask for the fit and feel you enjoy and follow its use instructions.

Cloud Booties take a different route to comfort with soft quilting, a pull-up shape, and a lightweight sole. They are an easy example of how a home ritual can begin well before you reach the bedroom.

Care That Fits Real Life

Check the instructions for each piece rather than treating the whole collection alike. A washable cotton blanket, a linen cover, and a silk mask can have different care needs.

For weighted bedding, confirm your machine’s load capacity before washing and follow the product’s drying guidance. A correctly sized removable cover can make routine upkeep simpler.

Why We Carry Baloo Living

We appreciate Baloo’s invitation to approach comfort with intention rather than urgency. Elizabeth’s story gives the collection a human starting point: a pause, a change of pace, and a wish to share that feeling.

You do not need to rebuild your whole routine. A texture you love, a properly chosen layer, or a few minutes without distraction can be a welcome place to begin.
