The Origin Story
Four longtime friends — Dominik, Ron, Maurizio, and Todd — live and breathe the Florida Keys lifestyle. Whenever company came to visit, or when they wanted a gift that was uniquely representative of life in the Keys, they struggled to find something that truly captured the essence of this special place.
Apart from amazing local artists, they found only seashells, T-shirts, and the usual Key West-branded knick-knacks — the types you see in every city or airport gift shop. There was nothing that truly captured the essence of the Keys.
Then came the breakthrough: the sense of smell is closely linked with memory. Scent can conjure up memories so vividly that many people feel they are experiencing the event all over again. What better way to capture the essence of the Keys lifestyle than through scent? And just like that, AQUA D’ KEYS was born.
