May 2018 — Three Passions Converge
In May 2018, three passions converged: a love for coffee, bourbon, and community — giving birth to what is now Clout Coffee. Female-founded by Carole Sprunk, who envisioned a brand rooted in her passions and aimed to empower and inspire others in their daily lives. Coffee is a universal experience that connects us with family and friends and accompanies us in our solitary moments as we begin our days.

How The Barrel Aging Works
Green Colombian Arabica beans are aged for eight or more weeks in freshly dumped spirit barrels. The barrels are rolled to ensure even exposure to the wet barrel staves, infusing the essence of premium spirits into every bean. Once aged, the barrels are cracked open and the beans are roasted in small batches according to the Clout roasting profile — any alcohol burns off at high temperatures, but the bold flavors and aromas of the spirits remain.
The Beans — Two Exceptional Origins
Colombian Huila Mill — El Camino Real Blend
Sourced from small producers near the Huila Mill, this El Camino Real blend is typically 90% Supremo, 10% Excelso (varying by harvest season). Elevation: 1,100–1,800 MASL. Aromas of baker’s chocolate, black walnut, stone fruit, and lemon. Flavors of cocoa, bruléed fruit, and citrus.
Cerrado Mineiro, Brazil — Espresso Roast
From the Cerrado Mineiro region of Brazil. Elevation: 1,050–1,130 MASL. Aromas of brownies, caramel, marshmallows, and juicy body. Flavors of toasted oats, lemon tea, and Hostess cupcake.

Two Couples, One Legacy
In October 2023, two couples came together to bring Clout Coffee to Hermann, Missouri — deepening Clout’s connection to local craft culture while remaining true to its origins as a female-founded and women-owned company. Alicia Jett (CEO & CHRO) and Brian Jett (CFO) continue the brand’s legacy with passion for community and artisan craft.
Alicia Jett — CEO & CHRO
A devoted mother of three and Hermann, Missouri resident. Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Alicia earned her Business Administration degree and MBA, built a career in Human Resources, and brings her passion for continuous learning and community to Clout Coffee.
Brian R. Jett, CPA, CFP® — CFO
A native of St. Louis who moved his family to Hermann in 2022. After 15 years in public accounting, Brian shifted to real estate and entrepreneurship — managing vacation rentals, commercial properties, and Kugelblitz Gaming — bringing deep community roots to Clout.
