Sarah Potempa, the inventor of the Beachwaver®, brings her experience as a globally recognized celebrity hairstylist and her passion for research and development. Her mission is to educate and empower people to style their own hair.
Erin Potempa-Wall left a corporate career to co-found the company, while Emily Potempa—Sarah’s first client and the first person to try the Beachwaver®—brings creative direction and visual storytelling to the brand.

Sarah graduated from NYU with a degree in Business and Creativity before becoming a globally recognized celebrity hairstylist. Her desire to make styling more approachable led to the invention of the award-winning Beachwaver®.
