Shop Alive & Well Kombucha ↓Alive & Well began with two people approaching the same drink from different directions. For Shyler Landry, kombucha was personal. For Trevor Landry, every drink began with balance: how it tasted, how it felt, and whether the last sip was as appealing as the first.
Together, they wanted to make something complex, smooth, and worth reaching for. Not a drink you had to persuade yourself to enjoy, but one that earned a place at the table.
Shyler: The Personal Beginning
Diagnosed with Celiac Disease at twenty, Shyler became interested in kombucha during her own journey toward feeling well. That experience helped shape a deeper interest in nutrition and the choices people make around food and drink.
She went on to earn a Master of Science in Integrative and Functional Nutrition from Saybrook University in 2020. As the founder of Nutrition Worthy, she built a career helping individuals and companies think more carefully about eating and drinking.
Her personal story gives context to the brand’s beginning. At Alive & Well, she brings that ingredient-minded perspective to a drink designed to be enjoyable in everyday life.
From The Other Side Of The Glass
Trevor: Balance Is The Point
Trevor’s background is in hospitality. An award-winning mixologist and beverage director, he brought fifteen years of hospitality management and brand work to the partnership.
His experience spans operations, brand development, marketing, sales, and ambassadorship. But the most important thread in this story is his attention to the finished drink.
Flavor was never an afterthought. It was the reason someone would choose the glass in front of them, and come back for another.
A Shared Launch In May 2023
Alive & Well launched in May 2023 with five flavors. The founders describe their intended style as less acidic, with softer bubbles and flavors that could stand on their own.
They imagined the drink in several settings: a mocktail-style serve, a companion to a meal, or simply something cold to savor on an ordinary Tuesday.
The current collection here offers four six-pack listings. Each gives you a different route into the founders’ flavor world, from rose and lychee to oak and coconut.

The Carpenter
