Remembering Esther Bolkin
For more than four decades, Esther Bolkin blazed an innovative trail, creating a path for all Lash Lovers to travel. Her kindness, vision, skill, and loving spirit continue to be felt, remembered, and carried forward.
Though we lost this remarkable woman in September 2023, her memory lives on through GladGirl and each lash applied by all those she taught and mentored along the way.

The Foundation And Future
Brian Greene’s Vision
Inspired by Esther’s visionary focus within the eyelash extension industry, son-in-law Brian Greene joined her journey and formally partnered with Esther to found Glad Lash in 2009. He set out to tap into the full potential of the business Esther had begun some 35 years earlier.
From Glad Lash To GladGirl
Working largely behind the scenes, Brian developed the brand and company culture before taking on the leadership role of CEO in 2011. He launched a comprehensive online store with full e-commerce capabilities and a growing catalog of lash products, sizes, and styles.
In January 2016, that evolution was formally established as GladGirl. In 2018, the company expanded its vision further with the first of its physical stores.
