Andrew and Daniel visit an olive oil store and discover smoked salts — inspiration strikes. They make their own smoked salt as that year’s Christmas gift.
Texas Salt Co Is Born
The enthusiastic response during the early days of the global health crisis provides the perfect opportunity. They build their own smokers, experiment with salts from around the world, and launch Texas Salt Co.
Cowboy Salt Wins Awards
Their signature Cowboy Salt — garlic and rosemary, smoked over pecan wood for days — earns award-winning recognition. Pop-up markets at the Bandera courthouse grow into a full retail room.
Cowboy Bread Dip Launches
Their second best-seller arrives — Cowboy Bread Dip, modeled after Carrabba’s famous bread dip but uniquely smoked over Texas pecan wood. A Texas twist on a beloved classic.
