Welcoming Lime Ricki: The Three-Sister-Founded Swimsuit Brand Designing Bold, Confident, Real Swimwear for 18+ Years
Shop Lime Ricki

We're delighted to introduce Lime Ricki, founded in 2007 by three sisters who loved bold color, adventure, and designing swimsuits they actually wanted to wear. Their first collection sold out before the end of summer — and 18+ years later, Lime Ricki is still here, still women-owned, still never airbrushing their models, and still designing swimsuits that make women feel genuinely confident. Designed in Salt Lake City. Responsibly made. Sizes XXS–4X. For every body.

Founded by Three Sisters Who Wanted Swimsuits They Actually Wanted to Wear

Lime Ricki began in 2007 with a simple idea: swimsuits should be fun, comfortable, and make you feel confident. Originally founded by three sisters who loved bold color, adventure, and designing pieces they actually wanted to wear, what started as a small collection of tankini tops and bottoms quickly grew after the first launch sold out before the end of summer. Twenty years ago now — and Lime Ricki is still here, still wanting to make swimsuits that women feel confident in. This founding energy of three sisters designing for themselves is the spirit that lives in every Lime Ricki collection.

What Makes a Great Swimsuit: Fit, Silhouette, and Bold Design

Since those early days, Lime Ricki has continued to refine what makes a great swimsuit: comfortable fits, flattering silhouettes, and vibrant designs. Bold color and graphic patterns are at the heart of every collection, and the details matter — from quality fabrics and trims to thoughtful construction. Each piece is designed to mix and match, making it easy to create a look that feels uniquely your own. This mix-and-match philosophy gives every woman the freedom to build her perfect suit.

Four Things Lime Ricki Wants You to Know

1. Lime Ricki is powered by a smart, talented, and compassionate team of women who run the day-to-day and think designing and selling swimsuits is pretty awesome.

2.
They NEVER airbrush or photoshop their models — they are just right the way they are. And so are you!

3.
Every order is hand-picked by an actual person in their warehouse in Salt Lake City and shipped off with gratitude and love.

4. Quality matters — they love and appreciate the dedicated team that manufactures their suits, from cutting to sewing to packaging each one. These four commitments define what it means to shop Lime Ricki.

Women-Owned, Responsibly Made, Inclusive Sizing

For over 18 years, Lime Ricki has been designing swimsuits for women, by women. High-quality swim produced in small batches and sewn to last. Inclusive sizing from XXS to 4X — designed so you can feel your best, whatever your size. Designed in the USA, based in Salt Lake City, where they design and ship every suit.
