We're captivated to introduce Texas Salt Co, founded by Andrew and Daniel Almand in late 2020, born from a love for creating unique handmade gifts with a tradition of crafting special Christmas presents including candles, terrariums, and soaps. Their journey into gourmet salts began in 2019 after visiting an olive oil store and discovering smoked salts, inspiring them to make their own smoked salt as that year's Christmas gift—and the enthusiastic response during the early days of the global health crisis provided the perfect opportunity to build their own smokers and experiment with salts from around the world, launching with signature award-winning "Cowboy Salt" infused with garlic and rosemary, smoked over pecan wood for days, expanding to Cowboy Bread Dip by 2022, now settled into their flagship location at 304 11th Street, Bandera in the historic 1855 stone building housing retail, manufacturing, The Salt Block's six themed suites, event space, and Third Thursday Sip & Shop community events.
