Petersburg, AK is my hometown—a small fishing town on an island located in Southeast Alaska, right in between Ketchikan and Juneau. Growing up in Petersburg, I idolized the local fisherman and could not wait until I could get on fishing boats. My time finally came when I was 15 years old. Commercial fishing in Alaska is an experience in and of itself—the scenery, the ocean, the fish, the people, it's all so hard to explain unless you have experienced it yourself. Participating in these fisheries gave me an appreciation for the resource and the management. The love for Alaska and its fisheries is the passion that drives Alaskan Seafood Guys.

Petersburg, AK is my hometown. I always describe Petersburg as a small fishing town, on an island located in Southeast Alaska, right in between Ketchikan and Juneau.
