Stress Release Tension Tamer for Pregnancy is a specialized formula that promotes daily serenity and relaxation when you are pregnant or postpartum. This gentle combination of herbs will nourish and refresh your nervous system and help you put stress in perspective.

Updated formula! We recently modified Stress Release Tension Tamer for Pregnancy. We reduced the alcohol content below 10% and added apple cider vinegar. As we recognize that more and more people are taking multiple tinctures during pregnancy, we reduced the alcohol content out of an abundance of caution to keep the cumulative levels at the safest recommended level. The taste profile has changed, so you may detect a floral/tart taste.

  • Helps calm temporary stress, tension & emotional upset.*
  • Gentle and calming herbal formula.*
  • Safe for pregnancy, postpartum and while nursing.*
  • Gluten-free & Vegan.*
  • Available in our unique and convenient pump top bottle.

While all our pregnancy, postpartum and children's formulas contain organic gluten-free alcohol — which is used to extract the herbal constituents and preserve the tincture — our finished products have as much alcohol as a ripe banana per serving.

Best Taken
  • When stress is piling on
  • When your nerves feel frazzled
  • When your mental health is suffering
Suggested Use

Immediate support: 3mL in water; repeat as needed. Limit to 7 servings per day. Extended support: 3mL 2-4 times per day for up to 3 weeks, or as practitioner advised. Not recommended for use in the first trimester. Consult a qualified midwife or healthcare practitioner before use.

Recommended Use Strategies: #1, #2 & #3

Use Strategies
"Half of it is the awesome formulas...the other half is how you use them!"

#1 Fastest Effect Strategy - Volume: To achieve in-the-moment results, take one serving in a little water; repeat serving as needed. Think ‘enough volume here to get the job done’. Volume needs differ from person to person based on their constitution and the issue at hand.

#2 Move Thru-It Strategy - Frequency: To support optimal recovery rates, take one serving in a little water; repeat every 1-3 hours for a day or two then taper off to 3-4 times a day, up to 5 days in a row. Persistent frequency supports the body’s optimal response to a stressor.

#3 Tonic Strategy - Consistency: Tonic use is about promoting optimal health through deep, nutritive support over time. Take one serving 2-4 times a day for up to 3 weeks at a time or as practitioner recommended.

Initially take the suggested amount in a small amount of water, juice or tea to taste. With familiarity, can be taken directly for convenience.

Keep out of reach of children. Shake well before use. If you have a medical condition or take medications, please consult your healthcare practitioner before use. For more info on storage, shelf life, dosage and more, read our Getting Started with Tinctures guide.

Herbs in Action
  • Milky Oat tops: Avena sativa is the seed of common oats in the green stage, rich in minerals and trace nutrients including magnesium, iron, calcium, B vitamins, and vitamins A and C. It acts as a nutritive tonic that deeply nourishes and strengthens the nervous system, particularly when overworked from mental, emotional, and physical exhaustion. Milky Oats gently calm the mind, strengthen the adrenal systems, support healthy stress responses, and ease anxiousness and worry. Experienced herbalists consider it one of the best remedies for nervous system weakness, exhaustion, and restoring the body's vitality after prolonged stress.
  • Dandelion root: Taraxacum officinale provides a substantial amount of valuable minerals, including iron, calcium, magnesium, and potassium. In addition, Dandelion is rich in two phospholipids - lecithin & choline - which convert to acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter key to healthy mood, learning and memory.
  • Linden leaf and flower: Tilia europea is best known to help with sleeplessness. One of the active ingredients in Linden is an essential oil called farnesol, which can help to promote relaxation for the cardiovascular system.
  • Lemon Balm leaf: Melissa officinalis is used to calm the mind, support restful sleep, ease indigestion, and support mood.
  • Chamomile flower: Matricaria recutita is commonly used to promote relaxation by gently calming the nervous system and supporting a healthy stress response. Chamomile may also help support a balanced inflammatory response throughout the body.
