Deer Valley Danes began with a simple observation at an AKC conformation show: there were not many healthy treat options for dogs, and the people showing them looked stressed. Karin saw an opportunity to think more broadly about wellness, not just for pets, but for the people who care for them every day.
“We Need A Health And Wellness Shop For Pets And People!”
Karin, Founder Of Deer Valley DanesA Show-Ring Insight Became A Bigger Mission
Karin’s years of showing Great Danes and researching raw and homemade diets gave her a deep understanding of the questions pet parents ask. Her continued learning led her toward alternative and functional care for pets, along with the recognition that many pet health practices parallel people care.
Deer Valley Danes brings that perspective together in one place, with products chosen for their wellness potential and education that helps pet parents make more informed decisions.
The Deer Valley Danes Difference
A Life Built Around Animal Care
Karin’s connection to animals runs deep. She has been a Great Dane enthusiast for more than 30 years, shows her dogs in AKC conformation, and has built a family of dogs whose accomplishments reflect her commitment to their care.
Daisy, Maisie, Ernie, and Dolce represent different chapters of the Deer Valley Danes story, from top-level show success to fun breed ambassadorship. Karin’s lifelong love of horses, including her dressage work with Adelaide, adds another layer to her understanding of animal wellness and partnership.
Healthy Pets Need More Than A Single Conversation.
Deer Valley Danes connects product curation, ongoing research, education, and real-life animal experience to help pet parents build a more thoughtful approach to everyday wellness.
