Born In Seattle, Cynthia Moved To New York City After Studying Theater At The University Of Oregon. She Worked On Broadway For 10 Years Before Moving Into Real Estate, Where She Quickly Became One Of The City’s Top Brokers.
In 2011, Cynthia’s Life Changed When She Received A Breast Cancer Diagnosis. Her Career Came To A Sudden Halt, And Her Approach To Everyday Personal Care Changed With It.
Finding Better Answers In Natural Skincare
While Undergoing Treatment, Cynthia Removed Beauty Products Containing Ingredients And Fragrances She No Longer Felt Comfortable Using. She Was Especially Surprised By How Products Marketed As Natural Could Still Contain Parabens, Sulfates, And Other Ingredients She Wanted To Avoid.
Determined To Find Better Alternatives, She Studied Natural Skincare, Essential Oils, Botanicals, And Herbs That Can Help Cleanse, Nourish, And Hydrate Different Skin Types. That Research Became The Foundation For Violets Are Blue.
