How to Use Winter Spice

• 1oz Winter Spice Simple Syrup
• 2oz steamed milk of choice
• 12oz brewed coffee or two shots of espresso
• Optional: pinch of freshly cracked black pepper on top

1. Add 1oz Winter Spice to your mug.
2. Steam or froth 2oz of milk and pour over the syrup.
3. Pour 12oz of brewed coffee over the top — T.H.E. Tarrazu Mustang or F-117 Nighthawk from the coffee fleet are the mission-recommended pairings. The crisp, smooth profiles let the smoked clove land exactly where it's supposed to.

Winter Spice Bourbon Sour — Flight Line After Dark

• 1oz Winter Spice Simple Syrup
• 2oz bourbon
• ¾oz fresh lemon juice
• 1 egg white (optional — adds a silky foam cap)
• 2 dashes aromatic bitters

1. Combine all ingredients in a shaker without ice. Dry shake hard for 15 seconds if using egg white.
2. Add ice. Shake again until properly cold — at least 20 seconds.
3. Double strain into a coupe glass.
4. Dash bitters over the foam cap. Drop in a clove or two if you have them.
