Pure Certified Wild Harvested Organic Purple Raw Sea Moss

The raw, dried form of wild harvested purple sea moss — for customers who prefer to prepare their own gel at home with full control over ingredients, freshness, and consistency. Purple sea moss gets its distinctive color from anthocyanins — the same class of antioxidant pigments found in blueberries, blackberries, and red cabbage. This gives purple sea moss a unique antioxidant advantage over gold varieties, while retaining the same 92+ trace mineral profile. Certified wild harvested from Saint Lucia, never pool-grown.

Key Benefits:

  •  Anthocyanin Antioxidants — Purple pigment from anthocyanins provides additional antioxidant protection not present in gold sea moss varieties
  •  92+ Trace Minerals — Iodine, potassium, calcium, magnesium, zinc, iron, and more in whole-food bioavailable form
  •  Thyroid and Metabolic Health — Iodine supports healthy thyroid hormone production and metabolic regulation
  •  Gut Health and Digestion — Prebiotic fiber supports beneficial gut bacteria and healthy digestion
  •  Long Shelf Life — Dried raw sea moss stores for 1–2 years, making it ideal for bulk purchasing and home preparation

Wild Harvested Purple Raw Sea Moss — Anthocyanins, 92+ Minerals, Make Your Own Gel

Purple sea moss is the anthocyanin-rich variety of Chondrus crispus — the same species as gold sea moss, but with a distinctive deep purple color that comes from anthocyanin pigments produced in response to UV exposure and environmental conditions in the ocean. Anthocyanins are the same class of antioxidant compounds found in blueberries, blackberries, and purple cabbage, and are associated with cardiovascular protection, anti-inflammatory activity, and cognitive support.

This raw, dried form is ideal for customers who want to prepare their own gel at home — giving full control over water quality, preparation method, and any additions. Dried sea moss has a shelf life of 1–2 years when stored properly in a cool, dry place, making it the most economical and flexible format for regular sea moss users.

Certified wild harvested from Saint Lucia — not pool-grown. Wild harvested sea moss absorbs minerals directly from the ocean, producing a far more complete mineral profile than pool-grown alternatives. Certification available upon request.

What Purple Raw Sea Moss Supports:

  • Antioxidant Defense — Anthocyanins provide additional antioxidant protection beyond standard gold sea moss
  • Thyroid Health — Iodine supports healthy thyroid hormone production and metabolic regulation
  • Gut Health — Prebiotic fiber supports beneficial gut bacteria and healthy digestion
  • Immune Function — Zinc, iron, and antioxidant compounds support natural immune defenses
  • Skin, Hair, and Joints — Collagen precursors and minerals support elasticity, strength, and lubrication

Single Ingredient
100% wild harvested purple Chondrus crispus. Nothing else.

How to Prepare Raw Sea Moss Gel at Home

Step 1 — Rinse:

  • Rinse the dried sea moss thoroughly under cold water to remove any sea salt or debris

Step 2 — Soak:

  • Place rinsed sea moss in a bowl and cover with clean spring or alkaline water
  • Soak for 12–24 hours at room temperature — the sea moss will expand significantly
  • Discard the soaking water after soaking

Step 3 — Blend:

  • Add soaked sea moss to a blender with fresh alkaline or spring water (start with a 1:2 ratio of sea moss to water and adjust to desired consistency)
  • Blend on high until completely smooth

Step 4 — Store:

  • Pour into a glass jar and refrigerate — the gel will thicken as it cools
  • Refrigerator: fresh for up to 3–4 weeks
  • Freezer: fresh for up to 3 months (use plastic or freezer-safe containers — not glass)

Serving Size:

  • 2 tablespoons daily. Take directly or blend into smoothies, juices, teas, soups, or sauces.

Ingredients

Ingredients: 100% organic wild harvested purple sea moss (Chondrus crispus).

Allergen Information: Sea moss is a marine algae. Individuals with iodine sensitivity or thyroid conditions should consult their healthcare provider before use, as sea moss is naturally high in iodine. If you have any food allergies, sensitivities, or are taking medications, please consult your healthcare provider before use.

Note: Color may vary by harvest batch. Purple sea moss may appear more or less vibrant depending on growing conditions and season — this is natural and does not affect quality or potency.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the difference between purple and gold sea moss?
A: Both are Chondrus crispus with the same 92+ mineral profile. Purple sea moss additionally contains anthocyanins — antioxidant pigments that provide extra antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits not present in gold varieties.

Q: Is this the same as the purple sea moss gel?
A: No — this is the raw, dried form. You prepare the gel at home. If you prefer ready-to-use gel, see our Organic Purple Wild Harvested Sea Moss Gel.

Q: How long does dried sea moss last?
A: 1–2 years when stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Q: Why does the color vary?
A: Purple sea moss color intensity varies naturally by harvest batch, season, and growing conditions. Variation is normal and does not affect quality or mineral content.

Q: Do you offer refunds?
A: We do not offer refunds. If your order arrives damaged, contact us with photos.
