Herbs in Action
  • Lomatium root: Lomatium dissectum is a resinous root that supports immune system strength and helps the body maintain healthy microbial balance during seasonal challenges.
  • Bee Propolis: Also known as bee glue, Bee Propolis is made from pollen and plant resin that bees use to protect and seal their hives. This thick resinous substance soothes throats and supports respiratory wellness while strengthening the body's natural immune response. Rich in polyphenols, these free radical scavengers support the body's natural balance and protect against environmental stressors.
  • Myrrh gum: Commiphora molmol, C. myrrha is a sap-like substance or resin extracted from cuts in the bark of trees that are members of the Commiphora species. Used traditionally for wellness, Myrrh helps soothe seasonal discomforts, soothes occasional cough, and supports lung health. Myrrh also supports healthy microbial balance and immune system function.
  • Elderflower: Sambucus nigra is native to Europe and now naturalized in parts of the United States. This light and delicate herb with honey-scented flowers makes it suitable for kids and adults alike. Elderflower supports the body's natural ability to eliminate waste and encourage a healthy microbial balance and immune response. It may also help support healthy body temperature, soothes sinuses, and supports a healthy inflammatory response in the sinuses during seasonal changes.
  • Boneset aerials: Eupatorium perfoliatum is a perennial daisy with a long history of use amongst Native Americans. It supports a healthy body temperature and soothes occasional aches.
  • Yarrow aerials: Achillea millefolium was said to have been carried by the Greek warrior Achilles in his belt during the Trojan War to treat battlefield wounds, hence the Latin name referring to the warrior and yet another common name for Yarrow: the warrior herb. Yarrow furthers the body's natural immune response and supports mucosal tissue in response to seasonal stress.
  • Goldenseal root: Hydrastis canadensis is a perennial plant that has been used in traditional medicine to support mucus membrane wellness and healthy microbial balance. This herb supports a healthy inflammatory response and maintains healthy microbial balance. It is commonly taken to soothe seasonal discomforts, sinus discomforts, respiratory discomforts, and mucosal discomforts.
  • Grindelia Aerials: Grindelia robusta is also commonly called Gumweed for its sticky resinous flowers. It is commonly used as an herbal remedy for coughs and respiratory congestion. Grindelia soothes coughs and the urge to cough, supports a balanced mucosal lining, making it effective in support of the entire respiratory system.
  • Thyme leaf: Thymus vulgaris may help soothe occasional cough, supports immune system function, and provides free radical scavenger activity.
  • Osha root: Ligusticum poteri offers deep healing with its affinity to bring the body back to balance. Modern day herbalists and folk medicine lovers today use Osha to soothe coughs and seasonal irritations in the respiratory system, and to support the health of the sinuses.
