Mocha Latte Paleo Protein Powder - A New Experience

I have a confession… I love the flavor of coffee! However, If you’re like me, you’ve likely chosen to give up your morning cup due to the fact that coffee and caffeine can aggravate the GI system and lead to sleeplessness, and more...

If you’re a coffee lover and have had to give it up.. all’s not lost! Even those of you who have had to give up coffee due to any of the issues I mentioned above can still enjoy that amazing fresh roasted coffee flavor you love and miss, all while following The Myers Way®, a Paleo diet, or an AIP or Ketogenic protocol.

My Mocha Latte Paleo Protein perfectly embodies the delicious fresh roasted coffee and latte flavor of your favorite creamy coffee house latte, WITHOUT the detrimental effects of coffee and caffeine!

Paleo Protein is one of the only clean, AIP collagen powders on the market. It is gluten, dairy, and sugar-free, and sourced from non-GMO, hormone- and antibiotic-free, grass-fed beef. You also won’t find other ingredients on your ‘avoid’ list including grains, corn, or legumes in my Paleo Protein. It’s truly perfect for everyone, especially those following an AIP protocol or simply avoiding certain foods!

Every serving contains a whopping 21 grams of hydrolyzed collagen. Not everyone always has a clean collagen product on hand, so Paleo Protein comes to the rescue as a perfect way to incorporate supplementation of collagen!

My Mocha Latte Paleo Protein is so easy to mix. What’s  better than clean, pure collagen peptides? One that you can mix in a heartbeat and be on your way—that’s why my brand new formula mixes so easily—even in water! NO BLENDER NEEDED. It’s great as a quick morning shake or added into a delicious smoothie. Fast, easy, convenient, and fabulous for you. Kids absolutely love it too! It’s perfect for those with finicky tastes.

Paleo Protein is perfect for those seeking to support gut health. That’s right. It features collagen-specific amino acids that help support endothelial cell health and gut barrier function. In fact, the cells in your stomach and digestive tract absolutely love this stuff. With plenty of gut-loving aminos, Paleo Protein is your gut’s best friend.

Everyone can benefit from Paleo Protein, and I particularly recommend it if you:

  • Want to offer your body a sweet-tasting option while encouraging healthy habits†
  • Follow a Paleo, AIP, or Keto diet†
  • Want to add more high quality collagen into your diet†
  • Are always busy or on the go and needs an easy-to-mix source of protein†
  • Are ready to ditch your old supplement for one that offers your body a pure clean collagen and amino acids

Suggested Use: Mix one scoop in 8 ounces of water or other beverage per day.

FAQs

What is Paleo Protein made of?

The Myers Way® Paleo Protein is made from hydrolyzed bovine collagen that comes from happy, pasture-raised cows that graze on fresh green fields in the sunshine. These animals are raised with love and care and never given unnecessary drugs such as antibiotics, arsenic based growth promoters, or hormones. They are grass-fed, and never fed GMOs such as genetically modified corn and soy meal.

Can my child use Paleo Protein?

Yes, absolutely! The Myers Way® Paleo Protein is perfectly safe for kiddos, provided they’re not allergic to any of its ingredients. Try making your kids a shake for breakfast, or as a snack after school or sports. They will thank you for it!

What time of day should I take Paleo Protein?

The Myers Way® Paleo Protein is perfect any time of the day. I like it in my morning smoothies, and I have patients, family, and friends that tell me they enjoy it at all times of the day. Whether you’re mixing it into your morning coffee, into shakes for dessert, or adding it to a smoothie for an extra collagen kick, you’ll find that it’s great around the clock. I even have a few friends who enjoy it right before bed as a bedtime snack!

Is Paleo Protein okay to use while pregnant or nursing?

Yes. Provided you are not allergic to any of the ingredients included in The Myers Way® Paleo Protein, on any prescribed medications that could be contraindicated, or have been advised by your physician not to use protein powders for any reason, then The Myers Way® Paleo Protein is safe to use in doses recommended on the product label. If you have any concerns whatsoever, I always recommend speaking with your physician or other qualified healthcare provider.

Is Paleo Protein damaged by heat?

All proteins are damaged by high heat to some extent. Proteins are long chains of amino acids bound together. High heat can potentially fold and warp the amino acid chains into new shapes and structures called amines that may be unusable by the body, or even harmful. This is why you should avoid charring or overcooking meat. The proteins and peptides in my Paleo Protein are quite stable at moderately high temps, so adding it to a hot cup of tea or coffee, or baking it at low temps (below 300 degrees) will not denature it too much.

Can I take Mocha Latte Paleo Protein if I’m allergic to tree nuts?

My Paleo Protein contains MCT oil derived from coconuts. Scientifically speaking coconuts are not tree nuts, they are in fact fruits classified as a “drupe.” Other drupes include palm fruit, peaches, berries, plums, and apricots. However, because the FDA has lumped coconuts in a group with other tree nuts for labeling purposes, etc., I am required to list them as a potential allergen. In fact, true coconut allergy is actually extremely rare with only a few cases reported in the medical literature. If you have a diagnosed tree nut allergy, please speak with your healthcare provider before consuming any products containing coconut.

How come there are fewer scoops in my container than the number listed on the label?

The listed amount of scoops per container is an approximation and can vary based on personal use such as how full you make your scoops, spilling it, how well you scrape out the container, etc. While the number listed is an approximation, it shouldn't vary considerably versus what you get.

Why do you use "Stevia" in your products?

As you know, the first pillar of The Myers Way® is to remove foods such as sugar, alcohol, and processed foods to help promote gut health. While following the first 30 days of The Myers Way®, I recommend avoiding all sugars, including naturally-derived sweeteners. This is particularly important if you’re addressing gut balance and supporting the gut microbiome.

However, if you’ve completed the protocol, you might be ready to enjoy the occasional, naturally sweetened indulgence!

I want to set you up for success so I only use naturally-derived sweeteners in my products. “Stevia” is a great natural sweetener used as a sugar substitute.

What is "Stevia"?

Stevia is a sweetener that is derived from the leaves of the Stevia rebaudiana plant which is native to Paraguay and Brazil.

How does "Stevia" compare to other sweeteners?

Stevia’s sweetness comes from steviol glycosides, which are between 50 and 300 times as sweet as sugar. It is considered a naturally derived alternative to sugar and artificial sweeteners that may be gentler and more supportive of gut health and balance.

Is "Stevia" bad for you?

There have been a lot of stories about Stevia in the news which has caused some concern about using this ingredient in products and food you consume. The reason “Stevia” has been in the news is that it’s been found that several manufacturers have bulked up their “Stevia” by adding other artificial sweeteners, namely erythritol. We use only pure “Stevia” in our products and none of our products contain erythritol.
