What kind of colour this is

Most plant colour starts with henna, and henna gives one thing: a warm red-orange. Every brown and black we make is that warmth with indigo layered over it.

This shade skips henna entirely. Amla leads the list, indigo comes second, and colourless henna third — despite its name, cassia is a different plant with almost no colour of its own. What you get is a cool, soft wheat tone with nothing warm underneath it.
