The intra-workout fuel built for the miles that push you.
  • Sustains energy with 30g dual-action carbs via two independent absorption pathways*
  • Replenishes what sweat takes with 1,250mg total electrolytes including 700mg sodium*
  • Designed to minimize GI distress with no single-source carb overload*
  • Vegan, Informed Sport certified, Non-GMO

Not just a sports drink. A precision fueling system.

Most athletes running longer than an hour are leaving performance on the table, not because they're undertrained, but because they're under-fueled. Glycogen depletion doesn't announce itself. It creeps in as slowed pace, fading focus, and legs that stop listening. By the time you feel it, you're already behind.

Salty Carbs was built to solve this at the source. Every serving delivers 30g of carbohydrates and a full electrolyte profile mixed into your water bottle, sipped during the effort, and absorbed efficiently enough to keep you moving at the pace you trained for.*

30 Servings

BENEFITS

Why two carb sources are better than one.

Most carbohydrate supplements use a single source, typically maltodextrin or glucose. The problem: your gut has a ceiling on how fast it can absorb carbohydrates through any one pathway. Push past that ceiling and you get undigested carbs sitting in your gut, fermentation, bloating, and the kind of GI distress that ends races.

Salty Carbs uses a clinically-studied 1:0.8 ratio of maltodextrin to fructose, two carbohydrates that absorb through completely independent pathways in the small intestine.

  • Maltodextrin is absorbed via the SGLT1 transporter
  • Fructose is absorbed via the GLUT5 transporter

By using both pathways simultaneously, Salty Carbs effectively doubles your carbohydrate absorption rate without overloading either transporter. More carbs absorbed means more fuel delivered to working muscles. Less undigested carbs in the gut means less distress mid-effort.*

The result: sustained energy output at higher intensity, for longer without the spike, the crash, or the rest stop detour.*

INGREDIENT DEEP DIVE

Non-GMO Maltodextrin A glucose polymer derived from Non-GMO corn. Fast-absorbing, easy on the gut, and efficiently converted to glycogen for immediate muscular energy. Absorbed via the SGLT1 transporter, the primary pathway for glucose uptake during exercise.*

Non-GMO Fructose Also derived from Non-GMO corn. Fructose uses a completely separate absorption pathway (GLUT5) to maltodextrin, allowing simultaneous uptake without competition or overload. At the 1:0.8 maltodextrin-to-fructose ratio used in Salty Carbs, research shows meaningful improvements in carbohydrate oxidation rates versus maltodextrin alone.*

700mg Sodium Chloride Sodium is the primary electrolyte lost through sweat and the most critical to replace. At 700mg per serving, Salty Carbs delivers a meaningful dose instead of the token amounts found in most sports drinks. Sodium also drives thirst and encourages continued fluid intake, which matters on long efforts.*

Potassium Citrate Potassium works alongside sodium to maintain fluid balance across cell membranes. It supports neuromuscular function and helps prevent muscle cramping during prolonged exertion.*

Magnesium Malate Magnesium is involved in over 300 enzymatic reactions, including energy production and muscle contraction. Magnesium malate is a highly bioavailable form that's gentler on the stomach than cheaper forms like magnesium oxide.*

BUILT FOR YOU

Built for athletes who go long.

  • Runners training beyond 60 minutes who've experienced the wall, the fade, or race-day GI issues from gels.
  • Cyclists who need reliable, stomach-friendly fuel across hours in the saddle.
  • Triathletes managing nutrition across three disciplines with no room for GI error.
  • Team sport athletes who need to maintain output through repeated high-intensity efforts.
  • Anyone who's tried cheaper carb supplements and paid for it in stomach cramps mid-session.

If your performance drops off in the second half of your training or races, this is the fix.*

HOW TO USE

Mix one serving with 12–14 fl oz of water. Shake well.

  • Pre-workout: Take 30 minutes before a long or intense session to top up glycogen stores.
  • Intra-workout: Sip continuously from the start of sessions lasting 60 minutes or longer. Aim for roughly one serving per hour of effort.
  • Post-workout: Can support glycogen replenishment after intense sessions and is particularly useful when a full meal isn't immediately available*.

Dosing note: General sports nutrition guidelines recommend 30–60g of carbohydrates per hour of endurance exercise. One serving of Salty Carbs provides 30g, so adjust based on session length, intensity, and individual tolerance.
