TIP: Boost the brightening and reparative action of this lovely cream by adding a few drops of our super-concentrated Blue Sapphire Concentrated Brightening Oil.

KEY INGREDIENTS:

aos Skincare Snow Mushroom Image  Snow Mushroom / Tremella Extract (Tremella fuciformis) is a jelly-like mushroom that holds up to 500x its weight in water to help reduce water lossand encourage natural hyaluronic acid production. It's also rich in polysaccharides, specifically beta-glucans, which have the ability to hold and retain moisture. The particles in snow mushrooms are smaller than those in hyaluronic acid, so they have the ability to penetrate the skin more easily. Like all of our plants, the tremella mushrooms we source are sustainably cultivated.

aos Skincare Buriti image  Buriti Oil, also called Mauritia flexosa oil, is extracted from the nuts of the moriche palm tree. It is native to the Amazon rainforest and other tropical regions in South America and has recently gained popularity as a natural, gentler alternative to retinol. This makes it a great option for people who have not been able to tolerate retinol. Additionally, the combination of antioxidants, vitamins and fatty acids in buriti oil help to combat the signs of aging, such as fine lines, wrinkles and uneven skin tone.

vitamin c oranges  Vitamin C (THDA - tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate) is a stable, oil soluble vitamin C ester that helps clarify and brighten skin tone by inhibiting melanogenesis (production of pigment). It's made by first making ascorbic acid (vitamin C) from sugar and then combining it will fatty acids and finally hydrogenating it. It's quite the process, but we love it because ascorbic acid is very unstable, prone to oxidation breakdown and causes sun sensitivity for hours after applying it to skin. THD, on the other hand, is very stable and doesn't cause sun sensitivity, so you can use it anytime, day or night to brighten your skin.

Herbalbright Complex Photo aos Skincare Natural Ingredients Organic Beauty Farm to Face AOS Herbalbright ComplexTM is our proprietary blend of whole plant extracts. Packed with powerful antioxidants, these plants work synergistically to help improve the appearance of sun damaged skin. Natural resveratrol (present in Japanese Knotweed), licorice and lemon peel bioferment help to brighten and even skin tone. None of these plants cause sun sensitivity.

aos Skincare Ingredient Photo Apple  Swiss Apple Stem Cells are collected from rare Uttwiler Spatlauber apples of Switzerland. Uttwiler Spatlauber is a non-edible apple variety that was well-known for its excellent storability. It protects the longevity of skin stem cells, reduces the appearance of wrinkles and preserves the youthful look and the vitality of our skin.

Japanese Knotweed Photo aos Skincare Natural Ingredients Organic Beauty Farm to Face  Japanese Knotweed is rich in resveratrol, a powerful antioxidant that helps to care for your skin with natural defenses and protect it from environmental stressors. Ours is wild harvested right here in Oregon. You can rest assured that it's sustainably harvested because Japanese knotweed is considered an invasive week in Oregon and harvesting it actually supports our forests.

aos Skincare Olive Squalene photo  Olive Squalene, made from pure olive oil is light and emollient oil, very similar to our skin’s natural sebum (oil). It penetrates the skin easily to help lubricate, boost moisture and protect skin from moisture loss.

FULL INGREDIENTS LIST: Aqueous extracts of licorice* and Japanese knotweed~, cold-pressed sunflower oil*, vegetable emulsifying wax NF, stearic acid, vitamin C (tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate), Herbalbright Complex™️ (lemon peel bioferment, pea, uva ursi~,  mallow*, peppermint*, cowslip*, Lady’s mantle*,  speedwell*, lemon balm*, yarrow*, sacha inchi*), Buriti oil (natural retinol), olive squalene, natural fragrance*, meadowfoam seed oil*, snow mushroom extract, Swiss apple stem cell extract, sodium borate, vitamin E oil (wheat-free mixed tocopherols), rosemary extract, diazolidinyl urea and iodopropynyl butylcarbamate (preservative).
