Champagne Blonde

Colour Me Organic Premium

Certified Organic Hair Colour Powder · 3.5oz

A toner, not a dye. Champagne Blonde adds a soft champagne cast to hair that is already light. It does not colour brown or black hair, and no plant colour can lighten — so this one refines the blonde you have rather than creating one.

It contains no indigo. The herb that darkens every other shade we make is simply absent here, which means no green stage at the rinse and no risk of the colour stalling at purple. What you see when you rinse is close to what you keep.

New to plant colour? Read the full Champagne Blonde page → — how a toner differs from a dye, who it suits, and the vinegar trick that helps it take.

What "100% organic" means here

Not 99%, not 99.9% — every herb in the pouch is certified organic, and there is no base powder or carrier underneath them. Each shade is vacuum-sealed to slow oxidation before you open it, and shipped by air from our production facility in India so newer stock reaches you.

Unveil Radiant Elegance with Champagne Blonde

Champagne Blonde offers a refined, softly golden tone inspired by the delicate shimmer of champagne. It blends subtle warmth with light dimension, creating a luminous finish that reads as your own hair rather than as colour applied to it.

Unlike overly bright blondes, Champagne Blonde delivers a balanced glow — gentle, polished, and effortlessly elegant. Brass often reads as brass because it is uniform; giving a flat blonde something to vary against is what makes it look refined rather than raw.

What kind of colour this is

Conventional dye lifts your own pigment out and puts synthetic pigment in its place. This one doesn't lift anything — plant pigment layers over what you already have, so the cuticle stays shut and there is no damage to repair afterwards.

And this shade goes further: it barely colours at all. Ingredient lists run in order of quantity, and colourless henna leads this one — a herb that hardly tints. The three that do carry colour sit below it. That is the definition of a toner, written out on the label.

  • Powder-based organic colour for men and women
  • Certified organic by ECOCERT
  • No peroxide, ammonia, PPD, parabens or synthetic pigment
  • Contains no indigo — no green stage at the rinse, and it cannot stall at purple
  • Works on light, lightened or grey hair only. It will not show on brown or black hair
  • Blends grey into a soft champagne rather than covering it
  • At-home application, no developer to mix

What to expect

  • Right after rinsing — a soft warm veil over your existing blonde. No green stage, no waiting out a colour you didn't order.
  • First day or two — the henna deepens slightly as it meets air. The shift is small.
  • Where it lands — a warmer, less flat version of the blonde you started with.

A tip that makes a real difference. If your colour tends to come out light, mix the powder with a small amount of apple cider vinegar in place of some of the water — 1 to 2 teaspoons per bowl — and let the paste rest 15 to 30 minutes before applying. Henna's pigment releases more readily in mildly acidic conditions. This works because there is no indigo in this shade; don't carry it over to our browns or blacks, where acidity holds the indigo back.

There is no version of these photos on dark hair — not because we left it out, but because a pale tone has nothing to sit on without a light base underneath. Within light hair, depth still shifts with how pale your base is, grey percentage and porosity.

A toner is the hardest thing to judge from a photograph, and the result depends heavily on the base it lands on. First-time customers who don't get the result they expected can have a different shade sent free, or a full refund on the colour. How the assurance works →
